Hi, I’m Jennifer! I’m a certified birth doula based in Pinellas County, and I’ve been supporting families through pregnancy and birth since 2015. My mission is simple: to help you feel confident, cared for, and truly supported during one of the most transformative moments of your life.
My passion for birth began early—really early. I was just 7 years old when I witnessed my oldest sister give birth. I stood quietly to the side, wide-eyed, as I heard my nephew’s very first cry. That moment lit a spark in me that never went out. By the time I turned 18, I’d already had the honor of being present at the births of all six of my nieces and nephews. Each experience deepened my calling and made it clear: this is where I’m meant to be. As your doula, I get to know how to best support you, things you like/don’t like and what makes you feel empowered. We will spend our time going over a birth plan and talking through your options. I provide educational handouts as needed and always refer to evidence based information.
Certifications: Becoming a doula felt like the most natural next step. I’ve trained and certified with DONA International, G.R.O.W., and ProDoula, and over the past 10 years, I’ve supported families in hospitals, birth centers, and home settings.
Philosophy: Whether you have a clear vision for your birth or are still exploring your options, I’m here to walk alongside you. I’ll listen without judgment, answer your questions, and help you feel informed and at peace with your choices. I believe birth works best when you feel heard, respected, and empowered—and that’s exactly the space I aim to create for you. Birth is one of the most powerful experiences a person can go through. My background includes supporting families through both everyday challenges and big transitions, which has helped me learn how to stay calm, present, and nurturing in emotional and high-pressure situations. I truly value connection, and I bring a warm, grounded presence to the families I support. Whether it’s offering reassurance, sharing knowledge, or simply holding space, I’m passionate about making people feel seen, heard, and cared for during such a vulnerable and transformative time. I am dedicated to continuing my education and never stop learning to best support the families I get the opportunity to help.
Affiliations: I am approved to attend cesarean births at Tampa General Hospital as your doula. I also have a Baycare Doula Badge, allowing me to be a part of your care team. I subcontract through HealthyStart Coalition and Buddha Belly Doulas.

Additional experience: With over a decade of experience in the diabetes industry, I specialize in the support of women with Gestational Diabetes.
When I am not working, I enjoy crocheting, exercising, spending time outside and
hanging out with friends/family.
